Our Customer Service team replies to you at their earliest while our sales representative Live Chat and Call Center services offer real-time support whenever you need it.

Delivery Policy

We, Damas logistics team, handle most of deliveries and has an excellent track record. The delivery time is determined by various factors including the kind of product, delivery demands (peak time) and the location of the delivery. However, we always try our best to deliver goods as soon as possible. 

Free Small package Delivery 

  • We provide same day delivery service for small items within Male’ City, including Hulhumale’ doorsteps. 
  • Free delivery hour is from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The last order must be placed before 3pm to deliver on the same day. Any order received after 3pm will be processed on the following business day.
  • Free delivery Service is not available on Fridays and government public holidays, so you can expect your orders to arrive on the next working day.
  • Damas Logistic will verify the delivery via phone call to the specified phone number before the item is dispatched. If you are unable to attend, we highly recommended that you nominate someone who is available as recipient.
  • Upon receiving the goods, please be sure to sign the Delivery Order Note in the presence of the delivery representative to indicate your delivery has been received. Examine your order upon delivery to ensure that there are no visible signs of damage, missing or incorrect pieces.
  • In the event that there are missing, damaged or incorrect packages, please contact us within 48 hours of your delivery.
  • All deliveries require a signature upon receipt. Whoever signs for the delivery at the address shall be presumed authorized to act as recipient for the item. Damas logistics shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to a product once the delivery has been confirmed with a confirmed third-party signature. Damas Express will only provide exchanges for damaged or manufacturer defected items. 

Free Furniture delivery and Assembling

  • We offer special delivery arrangement for furniture and mattresses (large and heavy items); please discuss with our customer service employee before placing order for furniture and related items.
  • Our logistics team confirms delivery details to schedule delivery and assembling furniture. Damas logistics team aims to complete scheduled deliveries on time. However, weather conditions and unexpected delays may occur. If we missed the agreed delivery window, it may be rescheduled as a new delivery.
  • We provide free carpenter assistance service for furniture assembling. However, we may not be able to provide carpenter assistance which requires wall mounting. Free assembly service is available on selected products; please refer to item descriptions and delivery information before placing the order.
  • Please ensure a clear pathway for safe and damage free delivery and assembling of product.
  • Please provide blankets or cardboard to protect your tiled floors, carpet, wood floors. Our Logistics will not be responsible for any damage to floors or carpets etc. 
  • Damas assembling team will inspect all of your furniture with you to verify that it has been placed in your possession in good condition. Damas Express will only provide exchanges for damaged or manufacturer defected items. 

Delivery Options for Outside Male’ City

  • Customer has to nominate someone as recipient (Passenger, Boat Captain / Crew) with a contact number.
  • Free Delivery to any specified Jetties in Male City / Hulhumale / Thilafushi.
  • All deliveries require a signature upon receiving. Recipient who signed shall be presumed authorized to act as a customer for the item. Damas logistics shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to a product once the delivery has been confirmed with a confirmed third-party signature. Damas Express will only provide exchanges for damaged or manufacturer defected items. Please refer to Return Policy.

Pickup from Store

All the in-stock items ordered on Damas Express can be picked up at the Damas Express Online Store Collection Center / Damas retail Outlets / Warehouse.

Here's how it works:

  • During checkout, choose Store Pickup and select Online Orders Collection Center.
  • We'll update status on estimated pickup date and time.
  • Place your order and wait to receive a call or SMS "Ready for pickup".
  • We'll hold your items at the store for 7 days. If you don't make it in by then, we'll cancel the order.

Bring to the store:

  • Shopping confirmation and Government-issued valid ID card/Passport original ID card copy must be presented 
  • The credit/Debit card used for the purchase (if a credit card was used).
  • Your order number.

Who can pick up your order?

  • You can pick up your order yourself or choose someone else to pick it up. To have your order picked up by someone else, you must to provide the pickup person's name, e-mail address and phone number. Your pickup person will need to show his/her ID and the order number at the store.
Warehouse / Damas Outlet Pick up 
  • Some items like Furniture, mattresses and other major appliances (large and heavy items) may be available for pickup at one of our local warehouses / Damas Outlet.

Bring the following documents you'd bring for pickup in a warehouse:

  • Document issued by DAMAS EXPRESS OFFICE (Online Orders Collection Center)
  • Government-issued NID/Passport. 

A few more things to know

  • There's no charge for Store Pickup.
  • Allow us extra time to pick up large items like Furniture, mattress and other appliances.
  • Allow us extra time for Free Furniture Assembly (for Male' City including Hulhumale)

PRE ORDER POLICY

Damas Express offers unbelievable pre-order prices for some popular items for sale before they are available in-stock or before release to the market. We are committed to finding the item from the best sources. Customers have to place orders for these items in the same way as anything else on our website. The estimated dispatch date will be shown in the product details. Once your order arrive us, it will be delivered to address you have provided.

Estimated Dispatch Date/Time:

  • Please be aware that the products published for pre-order sale may not be available in Damas physical stores for sale or the product has not release to the local market. Please refer to product description for estimated dispatched date/time, sometimes unexpected delays may occur as it depends on international shipping or customs clearance. However, we always try our best to provide the estimates more accurately and deliver goods as soon as we receive the stock. 

Order place:

  • Customers have to place orders for pre-order items in the same way as anything else on damasexpress.
  • Best way to place a pre-order is not to combine orders in-stock and pre-order items. Please consider separate orders.

Cancellations and refunds:

  • If you want to cancel your order after it is submitted, please contact us immediately with quoting your order number.
  • Pre-orders may only be cancelled during the first 48 hours following confirmation. If we have already confirmed the items or provided the service, the order cannot be cancelled.
  • In the event that you have paid by credit or debit card, the fees charged by the credit card service provider fee for the use of this payment method may be deducted from the refund. All the refunds will be credit to your account if you have paid by card.
  • If you have received a damaged, wrong item, missing piece(s), or any other type of possible issues, damasexpress will proceed with the replacement, refund or repair, if applicable, at no cost as soon as possible. Please refer return and refund policy.
  • If goods ordered does not arrive on time, customers can request for immediate refund, If you have paid through BML payment gateway, refund process may take 3-5 working days.
  • You can contact us any time to know the status of your order or to ask any other question(s).

Return, Replace and Refund Policy

We want to give you a hassle-free way to return anything, as long as they are unused and in perfect condition, in original packaging with parts and accessories and all paperwork whenever possible. We will replace the goods or refund your payment, as appropriate.

  • We accept defective returns against defects / faulty materials and workmanship. Any goods returned will not be accepted if item exhibits any obvious signs of use or is not in the condition in which it was delivered. 
  • If you received defective items, you can choose whether you want the goods to be returned, repaired, replaced or refunded. If the attempt at a repair or replacement is unsuccessful, you can then claim a refund or a price reduction if you wish to keep the product.  Many products, such as electrical goods, are sold with a manufacturer's guarantee (or warranty), often for a year. Guarantees are a contract between you and the manufacturer and the manufacturer must do whatever they say they will do in the guarantee. Usually this will be to repair or replace a faulty item. 

Note: If the goods received are incorrect or significantly different from the product description please return them without removing the cellophane wrapper. 

  • A: Return and get a full refund.
  • B: Replace or get an exchange with another item of same product family. 

Please make sure you retain all original packaging, including outer packaging, to use if returning the goods. If the product received is damaged then bring it to the notice of the delivery personnel immediately. 

To request a return please email us at [email protected] and be sure to include a description of the items you would like to return, the original order number and the reason for return in your message. We cannot accept returns without a return note, so be sure to contact us before sending anything back.
